What is the Kaiser National HealthCare Shield?

Kaiser’s National HealthCare Shield is a group HMO program for government groups that provides comprehensive medical benefits to members and qualified dependents.

• Covers pre-existing conditions
• Includes major hospitals nationwide
• Provides preventive, outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and dental care
• No out-of-pocket during hospital admission
• Financial assistance for death or major injuries

The fees are funded by the annual medical allowance under EO64, hence, the members enjoy the health benefits for FREE!

• Preventive Care Annual checkups, pap smear, ECG, vaccinations, family planning counseling
• Outpatient Consultations, diagnostic tests, minor surgery, EENT treatment
• Inpatient Confinement in semi-private room, surgery, ICU, dialysis, chemotherapy
• Emergency ER services, oxygen, IV, meds for urgent care
• Dental Oral prophylaxis, tooth extraction, fillings, dental checkups

Who Can Avail?

• Government employees (age 18–65) covered by EO 64 eligible for the ₱7,000 Medical Allowance
• Member of participating groups (government coops, unions, or organizations)
• Member of Informal Groups
  • if you are a public school principal or leader (master teacher, teacher association president, etc), enroll your school as an informal group
  • if you are a public school teacher , tentatively enroll in an informal group
