Planning ahead is not only about money.
At a difficult time, a family may need to arrange a memorial service, deal with a final hospital bill, coordinate with service providers, or arrange repatriation from abroad. Advance preparation can reduce the number of urgent decisions they have to make.

₱200,000 Memorial Service Fund Example

For example, for ₱984 per month for five years, you can get an Everest Memorial Plan with ₱200,000 coverage. When the time comes, the benefits can be divided into three.
Final Hospital Bill Benefit
Up to 50% of the coverage (up to ₱100,000) may be used to help pay the insured’s final hospital bill.
This is especially important because many people spend their final days in a hospital. When a patient passes away with an unpaid hospital balance, the family may suddenly need to raise a substantial amount before completing the necessary hospital discharge and release procedures.
The Final Hospital Bill Benefit helps provide funds when the family needs them most—so they can attend to the hospital expenses and proceed with the memorial arrangements without facing an immediate financial burden.
Memorial Service Benefit
Up to ₱200,000 of the coverage—or the remaining benefit after payment of the Final Hospital Bill—may be used for memorial services chosen by the family at the time of need.
Unlike traditional memorial plans where the type of service is selected in advance, Everest gives the family the flexibility to choose the services that best fit the actual circumstances.
For example, someone may originally prefer a traditional casket service in the Philippines. But if the insured later passes away abroad, the family may instead need cremation and repatriation services.
Because circumstances can change, the family can decide what they actually need—when they need it.
Cash Benefit
After payment of the Final Hospital Bill and Memorial Services, any remaining amount from the ₱200,000 coverage may be paid in cash to the beneficiaries.
And if the hospital bill or memorial services were paid from other sources, the corresponding Everest benefit does not have to go unused. Up to the full ₱200,000 coverage may instead be claimed as cash by the beneficiaries.
This gives the family flexibility: use the benefit for expenses when needed, or receive it as cash when those expenses have already been taken care of.
One Plan. Different Needs. More Flexibility.
Whether the family needs help with the final hospital bill, memorial services, or simply cash for the beneficiaries, Everest provides up to ₱200,000 in coverage that can respond to what the family actually needs at the time.
And you don't have to keep paying for decades.
For a 30-year-old, you can prepare this coverage by paying for just 5 years:
Pay for 5 years. Be prepared for whatever tomorrow brings.
